If your unit is covered under warranty, a Service Center Team Member will walk you through the next steps regarding pick-up and delivery*, and estimated completion timeline.

*Pick-up and delivery included on warranty purchase on products that retail for $1,000 or more. If the pick-up and delivery is greater than 30 miles one way from the nearest FFH Service Center, a pick-up and delivery charge of $1.00 per mile in excess of 30 miles will apply.

When does my Family Protection Plan start?

Your extended warranty will start at the end of the manufacturer's warranty; however, pickup and delivery start at the date of purchase on equipment that retails for $1,000 or more*.

*If the pick-up and delivery is greater than 30 miles one way from the nearest FFH Service Center, a pick-up and delivery charge of $1.00 per mile in excess of 30 miles will apply.

Are there fees for transporting my equipment to a service center for a warranty repair?

Family Protection Plan on equipment that retail for $1,000+ include pickup and delivery from date of purchase.*

*If the pick-up and delivery is greater than 30 miles one way from the nearest FFH Service Center, a pick-up and delivery charge of $1.00 per mile in excess of 30 miles will apply.

Can I deliver my equipment to the service center to avoid transport fees?

Yes, you are welcome to drop off and pick up your equipment directly from the service center. Please note that an appointment still needs to be made. Call 1-833-744-7373 to schedule your appointment today.

Could there be a service charge even if my equipment is under warranty?

Damage from accident, abuse, misuse or introduction of foreign objects into the product are not covered under the Protection Plan. Damage from lack of preventative maintenance care not covered under the Protection Plan. Subject to $50 diagnostic fee.

Does my Family Protection Plan cover routine maintenance?

Routine equipment maintenance is not covered under the Family Protection Plan; however, your local FFH Service Center can perform this maintenance as recommended. Schedule your appointment today, 1-833-744-7373.

Does my warranty cover a fuel-related issue?

No fuel related issues are covered by any OEM or extended warranty plans. Damage from accident, abuse, misuse or introduction of foreign objects into the product are not covered under the Protection Plan.

When should I change my oil for the first time?

We recommend changing the oil after the first 2-5 hours of use. This is recommended to ensure the engine is clean of metal debris from the manufacturer.

How often should I change the oil and filter after my first oil change?

We recommend changing your oil and filter every 25 hours of use, or at least once a year.

How often should I change my fuel filter?

We recommend you change your fuel filter once a year, every year.

How long should my fuel last?

We recommend changing your fuel after 30 days. Fuel older than 30 days could be harmful to a small engine.

How do I use my Family Protection Plan?

If your product experiences a covered failure, simply call us at 1-833-744-7373.

If I sell my equipment while the Family Protection Plan is still in effect, can I transfer the warranty to another person?

No, this plan may not be transferred.
