Feeding Guidelines
May be fed as a free-choice mineral supplement or may be mixed with the grain mix to ensure 2-3 oz intake per head daily. For horses doing no more than light work, Equestrian’s Choice Equine Mineral can be fed free choice without salt. Hard working horses require additional salt supplementation. If diet consists exclusively of legume hay or legume pasture, additional supplementation of phosphorus for foals may be necessary.
