Cydectin Pour-On (moxidectin) for beef and dairy cattle is a parasiticide that helps control 13 species of worms, including brown stomach worm, lungworm, nodular worm, and barber pole worm. This dewormer also helps control horn flies, lice, cattle grubs, and mites. Cydectin is formulated with a purple dye, so it's easy to see which animals have been treated. Best of all, the weatherproof formula means this parasiticide works through rain or shine. Suitable for all ages of beef and dairy cattle, including lactating dairy cattle; it's also dung beetle and earthworm-friendly. This product requires zero milk withhold and zero slaughter withdrawal. Directions for Use
CYDECTIN (moxidectin) Pour-On is a ready-to-use topical formulation intended for direct application to the hair and skin in a narrow strip extending along the top of the back from the withers to the tailhead. Due to the angular topline characteristic of most dairy breeds, it is recommended that all pour-on products be applied slowly to dairy cows. Apply to healthy skin avoiding any mange scabs, skin lesions, mud or manure. Treated cattle can be easily recognized by the characteristic purple color, which will remain for a short period of time after treatment. The recommended rate of administration is 1mL for each 22lb (10kg) body weight which provides 0.5mg moxidectin for each 2.2 lb (0.5 mg/kg) body weight.
