Recommended for the removal of sand from the colon and may help to reduce the possibility of sand colic in horses.
Active Ingredients:
Psyllium Seed Husk........140,000 mg (per 5.2 oz.)
Inactive Ingredients:
Artificial and natural flavors, ammonium hydroxide, ascorbic acid, cane molasses, citric acid, lignin sulfonate, lecithin, propionic acid (preservative), acetic acid (preservative), sorbic acid (preservative), benzoic acid (preservative), rosemary extract, silicon dioxide, tocopherois (as a preservative), and vegetable oil.
Directions for Use:
Adult horse (1,100 lbs.)
Enclosed scoop holds approximately 5.2 oz.
Administer 1 to 1.5 scoops daily for one full week (7 days) out of every month.
Give less to ponies, yearlings, and foals; more to larger horses and draft breeds. Can be given during or after meal time.
Cautions:
Safe use in pregnant animals or animals intended for breeding has not been proven.
If animal's condition worsens or does not improve, discontinue product administration and consult your veterinarian.
Administer during or after the animal has eaten to reduce incidence of gastrointestinal upset.
An examination from a veterinarian is recommended prior to using this product.
Provide fresh water to horse when using this product.
