Niagara is an excellent white variety producing generous clusters of flavorful fruit with a pleasant aroma. These grapes have a very sweet taste, making them ideal for table use, jams/jellies, juice, wines, and champagnes. Grape ‘Niagara’ is a dormant plant selected by DeGroot, offering you the opportunity to get a head start to the season! Due to its dormant state, this plant may lack foliage until it is planted. There is no need to wait until after frost; this may be planted as soon as the ground is workable. This early planting prevents transplant shock and allows more time to develop its root system. If your plant does have foliage, protect it from frost. Depending on the climate and weather experienced after planting, this plant could take up to 4-6 weeks to break dormancy and show signs of growth.

How to Plant:

May be planted in any well-drained soil.

1. Dig a hole large enough to encompass the roots without bending or circling.
2. Set the plant crown (where top meets the roots) 1-2” deep, make sure 4-5” of the top shows above the soil surface.
3. Cover with soil to original soil surface. Water thoroughly. Fertilize when planting.
